Ah yes, The Arm. The tale of a relationship
out on a limb.
So this out-of-work photographer finds a severed
arm in the woods and brings it home. When his
girlfriend finds out about it, they get into a
long-winded argument about their relationship.
Before the night is over, someone will propose
marriage, someone will find their long-lost
cat... and someone will be dead.
Mikayla Park played the girlfriend.
Markus Blivian was her fella.
I wrote, directed and produced the film, but I
sure as heck didn't work alone. Mike Diaz kept
the cast and crew in line. Peter Donovan
captured the gory details. And after making a
bleeding hand in my grandma's bathtub, Bret Allen
fixed everything in post.
The 2009 Huntington Beach Film Festival liked this
movie so much, it closed out their first night of screenings. We even had a
blogger write about it.
You can watch The Arm on YouTube and
Facebook, or
read more about it on IMDb.
That's it. Talk to the hand.
